After much fooling with various attempts there were 64 possible wiring combinations. I started with the black wire in the large prong in the plug and after ten tries, I came up with the right combo. All the lights work.

Further I cleaned the battery terminals and all the flickering has stopped as well.

Any progress on the fuel issue yet?

So far I have completely removed all the hoses to the fuel filter and ensured they are clear. The cup was bone dry, I put in some fuel and tried to fire her up. Same as before. She just acts like she is about to turn over and never quite makes it. Not sure what to do next.

suggestions:
1 take the filler cap off the tank and using a flashlite and mirror make sure the fuel pickup isn't cracked and is still attached to the brass fuel line connector (suction). Also, make sure the air-vent on the fuel cap isn't closed.
2. Check the operation of the throttle
3. make sure the fuel line and fuel return lines weren't switched by following them from the inlet of the fuel filter to the tanks suction connecter and from the engines fuel return to the tanks fuel return fitting. alternate method,,, disconnect the fuel line at the filter and blow into it and listen for bubbles in the tank (if you hear bubbling it's the fuel line if not and its real easy to blow air through..it's the return line)
4. fill fuel filter again and re-install it then fill the fuel line (turkey baster or just suck on the line 'till it fills (try not to get a mouthfull of diesel but if you do, don't ingest it...tastes awful but better than gasoline..don't ask).
5. Loosen #3 (#2 if a 2 cyl) injector about a 1/4 turn and using the engine's manual fuel pump, pump fuel until some seaps out around the injector. Then after some fuel seaps out and while still pumping snug the injector back down ..this is like bleeding your brakes only it removes air in the Fuel lines instead of air in your brakelines.
6. see if it'll start.

I haven't any plans be in the Spokane area in the near future, but if I have a change in my schedule I could include some time to take a peek at the problem with you if it isn't fixed by then.

I will give this a go this weekend. The weather continues to be good up here. Next week I am off to the Seattle area on business. Maybe I will get luck and get it started.

Please excuse my really dumb question. Can anyone tell me how to dissemble the Aqua Signal mast head mooring light to replace the bulb? I can't see any obvious way and I don't want to force it. It is on an R21-EC but they appear to be similar on all models.

It is a twist lock. Turn counter-clockwise to unlock. It will separate at the bottom where the clear plastic meets the black plastic. Be sure to not touch the bulb with your bare fingers. It is a halogen bulb and the oil on your fingers will cause the bulb to blow prematurely. I recommend replacing the halogen bulb with an LED bulb. It will last for years.

Since we're on the subject, would someone happen to have an actual part-number for a replacement LED bulb for that masthead light? Do the port and starboard marker lights use the same incandescent bulb as well? So far I've had no need to open mine on my 2008 21EC. I suppose I should inspect the bulb terminals for any signs of corrosion. Anyone have LED part numbers?
 
Andrew uploaded a parts list on the main page of this website, on the left side, under Attachments. You can buy the parts from the factory, or from other sources. The factory's prices are competitive.

Thanks for your inputs. I looked in the replacement parts list file, under R21 parts, and could only locate numbers for the standard anchor and nav light bulbs. (90200-7) I was unable to locate any LED replacement/cross reference numbers for the standard bulbs. I must be looking in the wrong spot. Where in that file which you referred to is the LED replacement number located? That would be most helpful. Thanks.

I am sorry. I mis-read the post. If you google the part number, you will find it crosses to a festoon type bulb. There are two types of festoon bulbs. The standard festoon bulb has points on each end. Then there is a festoon double dimple bulb that is flat on each end. Unfortunately, when I google the part number, I sometimes get the pointed ended bulb and sometimes the flat ended bulb. My boat is up at Annapolis right now about 70 miles away, and I cannot readily jump on the boat to see which type bulb she has.

When I ordered my boat, I had the dealer pre-install LED bulbs for all my NAV lights. I know how much of a hassle it is, and an expense, to replace the NAV lights all the time. I had to replace them often on my previous boats. Hopefully, the LED lights should resolve the problems I had on my previous boats. So far, they have.

We replaced every halogen (15) and incadecent bulb (10) on Karma for just over $400.00 with LED.

Glad that you passed it along. Gonna change the mast light and both the port & starboard red and green nav light bulbs. They have LED upgrades for all 3.

All three navigation lights use the same bulb. It is the dimple model. It took me all of five minutes to change all three...... Took 30 minutes to change all of those dang overhead halogens though.......

Don't forget to use the "coupon" to get the 10% discount! It adds up quickly if you are changing out every bulb on your boat.
