I have the one piece mast and arm assembly. When you travel I have to take it down and stow it. This is a real pain. How do other R-21 owners stow there mast when on the road. Ideas and pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

Mark. You are right on the mast being a pain for towing the tug. I just put the end down against the back of the pilothouse and tied it to the railing at the back of the tug. It extended out a small amount but was not a problem. Due to liking the shade but not liking the pain each time I came out of the water, I had a hardtop made for the cockpit. My wife likes the sun so it does not go all the way back. It is shown in my album.

I am assuming this is on an older R21? The new R21's have a side folding or forward folding that go into a down position for hauling.

Andrew,

You are correct, mine is the old style. I think I was the very last one. You guys raised the pilothouse six inches for me because of my height, and you raised the arm on the mast as well.

Thanks
