I have an R-21 with the mast and awning arrangement. I am considering finding a company that can cut the mast out three foot from the bottom and hinge it and install two heady clasps. This way I only have to undo the wires and lean the mast back, much easier to deal with. Do you guys at the factory think this type of idea would work and would it be stable? Also, what kind of shop should I look for for have this done.
