R 21 search light schematic JABSCO Mode 630xx Series

the R 21 wiring diagram mentions "see search light schematic"
where is that located?
I am troubleshooting the JABSCO Model No.: 630xx Series
Remote Control Searchlight touch pad control...
running down the wiring circuit as there is a short circuit somewhere- blowing off the 20 a fuse... light not operating.

Must the running lights to be on to operated the searchlight, as mentioned in the JABSO operating instructions? http://www.ittflowcontrol.com/files/630 ... 0_0728.pdf

I have to have the accessory switch on the panel turned on to operate the search light. Hope that works for you.

Hello Ray,

I have not run into such a thing with the searchlight. I usually dont go to the manual but I would sure take my volt meter and test resistance at the hot and negative wires and also try to ensure either of the two didn't get tied together somehow. I had another customer report this one time and it ended up being a bad light itself.
