my wife and i are looking hard at a 21ec for our island capers. we have a home on lopez island and a slip in fisherman bay.
we believe this boat will fit our need for the rest of our boating days and would love to look at and talk to an owner. we have seen a beautiful red 21 in Anacortes and wonder if any one on the group here is that owner, maybe show us the boat.
we are old and slow, maybe a 21 can keep up with us 🙂
we had a c-dory tomcat but it was too much for us to maintain, we would love to be able to launch our selfs.

Hey John.

I’m out of Everett but I have a red 21ec that I’ve had in Anacortes a lot this summer so it might be me. My boats in the water in Everett but coming out onto the trailer next week. You’re welcome to come see it and poke around. My cell is 425-344-1727.

Best,
Tyler

John, We have a 2013 21EC not for sale but just wanted to comment on how easy it is to maintain, take out, launch and trailer- easy, peasy and fun as all get out because of that ease. Nemo also handles rough water well and is a joy to pilot. We've owned bigger boats and were happy to lose the maintenance at this time in life and also the size when it comes to launching and trailering. Recently spent six nights and seven days on board cruising the San Juans and are headed out again, perhaps going to Steheken if weather permits.. Love our wee boat! You are welcome to reach us via private message and we can exchange phone numbers to discuss pros and cons and even meet up when we have her on the water so you can get a feel for the boat.

thanks to Tyler and Shangie for answering our note for information on the 21, the boat is even more exciting to us seeing other folks in the area that play in the Salish sea.
my cell is 360 622-8723 and i talk boat any time. Kathy and I are excited to get back on the water as we finish up our little carriage house on whiskey hill.

Shangie,
I had to look up Steheken as the name had escaped me. I have never been any where in the state besides the sea. I started coming to the islands over 40 years ago and kept a sail boat in Anacortes. I never had anything here to tow with and the sea was my world. that is another reason i want a 21, i can be more mobile to visit new places. I certainly feel to far gone to play with sail boats anymore, that day has come and gone, at least for anything big enough to cruise in.
