R-23 real world towing weight

R23 outboard. 5000 lbs. full gas 480 lbs. full water 183 lbs. full holding 91 lbs + -. 8000 lbs rated Float On – Pioneer trailer 900 lbs.
Total outboard 6654 lbs. Add 300 pounds for inboard.
I am guessing that the published factory spec’s do not include options. I got the anchor package, windless, radar and solar (140 watt) So add another 300 lbs.
Now you are at 6954, let's even it out to 7000 lbs. Fenders, lines, cooler, gas grill, and all that other personal stuff that ends up on a boat and you could get up to 7500 lbs. I may have gone high on these last few items but better high than low. If I ever get it weighed I'll put it out there but the most it will get towed is four times a season. That was a good exercise, Thanks.
If you wonder why a full holding tank, it was converted to fresh water at delivery. Marine head removed and porta potti installed.
