I did not purchase a trailer but require to be hauled out at least yearly. To be sure that Im am properly insurable, on a shop trailer, what is the estimate of a fully loaded (Fuel, water and gear) R-25 wieght? The Factory trailer that was sold with the R-25's was the EZ Loader 8500. Is this adequate?

Your trailer GVW will want to be 10,500 for a loaded 25 to be legal if you are ever checked by a weighmaster (not highly likely)... 8500 boat plus 2000 trailer... I ordered my Loadmaster trailer for 10,600 as this was his standard configuration over 10K...

A couple of years back I had my R25 lifted with slings. The crane suposibly had calibrated load cell and the operator told me my boat weighed 6500 lbs on slings (no water, sewage, people, or other stuff) all gear had been offloaded before lifting. Had about 10 gal fuel and all seawater overboadrs were open to drain. That seems like a low number to me but is consistant with what I have been told by other owners. I am not sure what a trailer would weigh but I am sure it is 2000#+.

Mine weighed 8400 on a supposedly calibrated lift in 2010... Full of gear and fuel and partial water...
Also a couple of R25 tugs have been weighed on their trailers and came in near 10K plus or minus as I remember - someone may want to check the archive... My Loadmaster trailer is built to last so 2K is a minimum...
