Has anyone replaced their Dinette upholstery fabric ? If so, how easy/difficult was it to remove the seat and cushions from the boat for transporting to upholstery shop ?

Easy - If you have A/C, the forward seat is easy as it is held in place with hinge clamps (remove 4 screws) and then the seat hinges up for access to the top of the A/C unit. Otherwise, each seats cushion is held in pace by screws from the underside or backside. A simple job to remove the seats cushions

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to replace the upholstery on a new boat you don't even have yet? I think an earlier post said you were scheduled for delivery in July.

They are very easy. My forward seat is held by screws that are easy to see and get to. I think the newer models have a clamp. The aft seat is held in by screws that you can easily get to down in the cave. It should take you only 15-20 minutes to remove them all.

🙂
We had asked Jeff if we had fabric choices for the boat prior to purchase agreement. He replied that we do not. We don't care for the standard dinette fabric design and would like to change it. We were quite surprised there was no choice of fabric designs for a new boat purchase. It's certainly not a 'deal breaker' for us, but we are just curious about how we would go about having the fabric changed out.
