After relocating the VHF radio to a more visible spot, I had a hole to fill and needed a place for the water tank level gauge. The old Garmin VHF 210 had a remote mic jack which left a small round hole. I enlarged it and mounted the water tank gauge there. The wires barely reached from the previous location but they did make it.
There had been a 12 volt plug near the water tank gauge so I moved those wires to power 2 double USB outlets I mounted in a starboard panel over the old VHF hole. I also mounted a 120 volt outlet in the same panel and wired it to a spare breaker on the electrical panel.
I’m happy with the new look and new functionality.

That looks great. We have a 2021 Cutwater 28 and and I don’t like where the radio is. May have to consider something similar. Nice job
