R-29 Potable Water--Oh by the way

Thanks everyone for your replies to my initial question about increasing tankage on our prospective R-29. I especially like the water maker idea but we cruise the upper Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, not exactly pristine water. Any Ranger folks out there who have tried to use an RO water maker in that kind of environment? If so, about how often can I expect to change the filters?

Nice thing about the R29 is you have room for a watermaker. That is you best solution.

Or you could do what I did ... add some 5 gallon jugs to the starboard side, aft of the Wallis Heater. Really helps to have 3- 4 jugs on board !
