R-29 propeller nut removal

Need to know if the propeller nut on my 2016 R-29 has right or left-handed threads. My first attempt, assuming right-hand threads, was not successful. I had pre-treated with some lubricating spray and jammed a 2x4 between the ground and the base of the propeller blades. With what seemed like only moderate torque, the trailer frame began to rise so I stopped. Lifting the stern of the boat by the shaft didn’t didn’t seem like a good idea.
Any suggestions?

As far as I know it is standard thread, left to loosen, right to tighten. Silly question but, did you remove the cotter pin? Also a little heat helps sometimes on jammed bolts.
