R-31 Bunk boards for Boat lifts

What are the measurements of the space between and depth needed for the boat lift. I need to know how high the bunks need to be so the boat V does not hit the Ibeam holding the bunks.

Thanks Brian, I have a similar drawing for my R-29 which is not very helpful in determining the required clearance. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Mike
