R-31 Fontana Shower Faucet

We winterized our boat this year (although it is usually not necessary in our climate) ....because we had very little experience in doing so, we had a professional do it. But, when he came to de-winterize our boat and do spring maintenance, he turned on the water pump only to find water coming out of the Fontana faucet in the full head shower. This is a new boat and we have never used the shower ever. We took off mounting plate on faucet and it looks as if the 0 rings might need changing out. Any information on how to remove the insides without tearing it all apart or should we simply order another Fontanta faucet. Also, is the access in the cavity available like the R-29 (at the foot of the 2nd berth where ac return is located)? Thanks.

Hello there. I spoke with Tommy Gaston at Seagate about this. Not knowing the internal working of those faucets, it may be easier to obtain a new one. You could also try calling the manufacturer of the faucet but every one I've tried to repair didn't turn out well. Feel free to call us direct if you need parts. Do you gain access to the shower wall lever in main head from the 2nd berth in the Ranger 31CB or is this only an AC return vent.
