Hello all, well I can say after having our boat for 2 weeks now we are absolutely in love with it. Still so much to learn, much of it making us feel silly, like taking an hour to figure out how to turn on the stove and oven  , but good for many laughs.

Yesterday we were sitting on our boat in our home marina, Union Steamship Company, on Bowen Island, when we saw an R21-EC come into the government dock. It certainly attracted a lot of attention and impressed the bigger boats with it's ample cockpit size and the standard thruster.

I was unable to get a good look at the name, I think it may have been "Orlando" but not certain. I was just wondering if anyone knows of this boat and if it's home is in the Vancouver area.

Looking forward to a full week on the boat starting this weekend, and hope to explore the Gulf Islands over that period. Hoping to see some other Ranger Tug sightings during our journey.

Cheers

Kathy

I believe you are correct on the name Orlando but I did not notice where the home port was. I arrived around 3pm on my 21-EC to refuel myself at Doc Morgans. Thank god the 3YM 30 is cheaper to run than me. I'm out of Gibsons and cruise over to Bowen for lunch frequently. I saw your new toy tied there. Orlando looks fresh off the assembly line.

I'm sure we will cross paths soon.

Dave

Hi Dave. We look forward to seeing you around the Sound or at Docs 😀

Cheers
