R21EC refrigerator removal

I want to remove the refrigerator from my R21EC. Does anyone know if the factory offers a "refrigerator delete" option.? If so would anyone know if the factory covers the opening with a Louvered door matching the other doors within the R21EC cabin? I could have a matching door made locally but if the factory stocks them it would be a less time consuming project.

I removed mine last year to see behind and there is a lot of room in there, here is a link of a discussion that I started about this subject last year:

If you look in my photo album, you will see my homemade door that I made to cover the hole. Inside I was able to make 2 shelves for storage purpose. All of this is removable within minutes if I want to put the fridge back in. I recommend that you get the fridge with your tug and keep it for resale purpose later...

I am sorry but the factory does not offer any solution to deleting the refrigerator. Sounds like some have done this modification which will give you some good ideas.

You are welcome, do not worry about it, it is easy to install and remove, and like I said, if you ever sell your tug, it's going to be a + to have a fridge in the tug for the next owner.

This year, we do not plan to go on an extended trip, so the boat will be in a marina all summer, so I reinstalled the fridge to keep the drinks cold as we know that we will have many guest onboard for afternoon trips in the Quebec City Harbour...
