Hi T-N crew. We were excited to officially join this community last fall when we purchased our new R21EC. We are reasonably competent DIYer’s and this site was a valuable resource in putting together the R21EC Winterize docx that Andrew was kind enough to post in the “Attachments” box in the left margin of this page. Now that it’s been downloaded a few times we wanted to solicit any constructive feedback from some of you more-experienced members on how it might be improved…did we miss anything, is there a particular sequence to keep in mind, any tricks/short-cuts?
Thanks much!

Snug-21, I do basically the same, except I change fluids and filters in the spring and wash motor and bilge area. Typically lots of leaves and dirt in that area after a long winter.
Stay safe and have fun with your boat. Bob

That list is pretty complete. In the north latitudes where temperatures drop far below freezing, the anti-freeze and draining items are critical...we know all the nasty things expanding water/ice can do. The other items may not be as important for a pre-winter check list. One thing I do, is always check/change the impeller in the spring before startup instead of the fall.....
