R23 Hatch & Door

Hey all finally did something worth posting here. I made a hatch for my R23 to go with the modified split door. Worked out pretty good. Bought a teak side table off Craigslist for $75 and converted it. My pics are on my album titled 23R Hatch.

Looks like a nice addition. Adds extra space for "stuff". Is there a way to keep it open to avoid any head banging?

Hi all thanks for the feedback, I never thought of the TV so thanks for that. The hatch definately adds a lot of extra surface area to put stuff, as those of us with 23’s know counter space is a premium especially on when living on it for a few nights.
TH hatch spring is from Seadog and is available for order online or at any marine store the part # is 321650-1.
