R23 Lenco TTs with LED indicator lights

Hello fellow TB'ers,

I have a 2019 R23 and the Lenco switch does not have the LED indicator lights.

I have located (from a sparse reply from Lenco Marine) what appears to be a direct plug-n-play upgrade control switch with the LEDs and auto retract when engine is shut down.

Has anyone done this update? There is no mention of having to add a component or sensor to the actuators; so presumable the position of the TTs is done within the control module underneath the switch and is all electric. Ideas?

Joe, Suggest you give Lenco in Stuart,Fl. a call about this. Their customer service was helpful to me. Also note my 2017 R23 had the auto retract feature installed but disconnected. The wire to reconnect it was dangling right behind the fridge. It was a simple fix.Good luck, SeaCabin.

Auto Retract feature retracts the tabs fully when the engine is shut down. Great feature for rack stored and trailered boats. Also good for boat that stay in the water to prevent marine growth on the cylinders.

Have you looked at the Lenco Autoglide system? This is the best upgrade I made to my 2020 R23. I monitor the trim tab position via the GPSMAP. The Autoglide does all the work.

thank you for the useful comments, and I have looked at the Autoglide system, and I like it a lot, but it's too expensive for me at this time.

I ordered the 15170-001that Lenco recommended for my R23. I'll attempt the install, and post results.
