Looking for creative ways to mount a small television in a Ranger Tug 23. I hoping to avoid much drilling and cutting into a new boat.

I removed the mirror located in the bow V-berth and mounted the TV there. We sleep Head to stern feet to bow so this makes it better for watching TV in the evening. I ran a TV cable and power up to this area along with a raw water line that is used for anchor wash down. I have Pictures of the install in my album.

We use a large tablet for viewing. If you can get wifi you can stream things. Usually we have the tablet preloaded with movies and TV shows downloaded at home.

Bluetooth on the tablet hooks it to the boat's audio system for proper sound.

Tablet is also portable to move from one place to another (salon or berth) depending on where we want to watch it.

Samsung makes an 18" tablet. There are one or two that are larger than that.

We mounted a TV and DVD player to backside of anchor locker. The difficult part of this job is routing the antenna cable from the mast to this location. It requires removing many of your cabin equipment, panels, and decorative pieces. It will test your COURAGE, patience and creativity. The good news is that you'll learn a lot about what is behind the panels and how the boat was built...and vacuum a lot (surprisingly) of construction debris from previously inaccessible areas; particularly in the bilge below the refer

We fabricated DVD holder out of teak and mounted with through-bolts to anchor locker fully sealed. A dded 12" square louvered access door to forward anchor drain area and routed fused 12V wiring to location. Also added 12 V powered antenna booster in this location. Wires and cables covered in split loom.
