This season a couple of the small courtesy lights on the side of the cabin on our R25 Classic started leaking. The gaskets are dried/cracked. It's amazing how much water leaks in through that tiny vertical fitting. On the port side forward it then runs under the monkey fur and ultimately drips rith on my wife's head in the vee berth. Easy enough to take the duck tape off and caulk them 😳 but they are much the worse for wear due to age/sun exposure. Searched on line a bit and thus far haven't been able to find a replacement in kind. Anyone have a part number/source or an alternative replacement? I'm not opposed to eliminating them but to date haven't found a simple fitting to plug the hole if the light is removed.

These look like they would work:

You’ll get better results searching “companionway lighting”

That looks promising. Thanks for taking the time. I searched on "courtesy light" and "deck light" and had no joy. This one looks like it might fit the same hole. Certainly looks just like the old ones but with a better method of mounting.

I do not think the light shown will work. It looks like it has a backing nut to mount and you will not be able to get to it to tighten. I would call parts at Ranger and see if they can get it for you or where to get it.

Two of the four are pretty easy access to the nut. Actually preferable to the tiny no.4 tapping screws. But good point that I should check if I can get at the other two locations.

Pricing is always interesting. $26 for one. $32 for two. Go figure.

All four can be reached. Three easily and the fourth is doable with the appropriate number or expletives thrown in. Thanks for the research snydzy.
