I have asked Tony Schulstad and Tim Wilbricht to follow up with you directly on both of these questions. They should be educated and up to speed on the Lithium Ion but I encouraged them to reach out to me if they needed help.
As for the manual, we have a template but it is not 100% Much of the R23 manual will apply to this boat but we are working on the differences now. In the meantime, the dealers have delivered several of these models so they should be able to teach you everything on the boat stem to stern. Make sure you spend the full two days going through the owners orientation. They should have a template just like ours that we use to make sure we cover everything.
