I have had continous issues adding fuel to the boat as others have experienced. Fuel would burp out of the vent and also out of the fill opening, I would have to fill the boat extremely slowly to avoid spills. Knotflying and myself found a dip in the vent line and after correcting that it helped somewhat but I still had to fill slowly to avoid spills. Someone posted on this site earlier this year to look at the fill hose to make sure there were no dips in that hose. What I did find was a slight rise in the fill hose. The hose runs on the starboard side of the engine compartment and is held in place with zip ties. I rearranged the zip ties to allow that hose to be in a level position and now I can fuel the boat at a moderate rate and not have any burps through the vent or through the fill opening. I have added fuel to the boat twice now without spilling a drop of fuel. I also got to use the Volkswagen fuel nozzle adapter on an oversize fuel nozzle and that worked
extremely well.
