R25 speed

Looking at purchasing an R25 w/ Yanmar 110 diesel. What is the best speed overwater I can expect?

Hello. I think this would be better suited for owners to respond. If I remember right, 10 knots was about the max cruise.

I think 10 knots would be a good estimate. I've got the 2011 150 hp version and the best I ever got out of it was 15.

There are too many variable that effect speed, weight, currents, wind etc.

I have the 110 and I have done 14 knots with the current.

10 to 12 at WOT

8 knots is a sweet cruising speed.

I have a 2008 110 HP R25. My best speed is 9.5 knots or possibly 10, no more. That's with full fuel tank and full water tanks. My usual speed is 7 knots at 1800rpm.
