R25OB anchor ??

We have an R25OB on order and plan on swapping out the stock anchor with a 22lb Rocna. Here are my questions....has anyone done this on either the 23 or 25 OB’s? Also has anyone installed the Mantus anchor guard on the stock bow roller on a 23 or 25 OB?

Thanks Hampster for this info. What I’m wanting thou is someone who has installed the Rocna 10 on the standard bow roller with the Mantus Anchor Guard. Has anyone had success this way?

It goes on just fine. But, the standard roller was too narrow, with rollers too tiny and was not acceptable to me.

I can see things are rather tight all the way around. When you changed the roller did you go with the BR1?

On my R23, I've got the Rocna 10 with the stock roller but with the Mantus Anchor Mate. I find it works just fine. The only issue is if I'm too excited to get the anchor in the water and just hit full 'down' on the windlass, the anchor will bump the front of the boat on the way to the water.

A quick self-lesson on releasing the anchor slowly, and have had no problems since. 😀

It's a little snug the last inch or so, but I am always on the bow making sure everything sits right...

Yes. BR1. It is a nice roller. Wider. Bigger wheels. Bigger bail. Quality stainless.

@Brian98133 Do you have any pictures of the Rocna with the stock roller? I am considering the same setup, but also considering drilling a new hole for the actual roller, but wont do it if it is not necessary.
