R27 back flushing ac

I've been backflushing my ac by disconnecting the hose at raw water pump discharge, then running city water through the discharge until it runs clear. I'm getting tired of pulling and reclamping that hose. Does anyone know if the raw water pump can be back flushed?? Since it is magnetic impeller it would be nice to just pull strainer basket and flush all the way back to there.

That’s what I do. Actually it will flush out right to the intake. Works just fine priming as well.
