I am tired of fighting with regular sheets for the bed! Anyone own the custom sheets? Are they worth the price? Anyone getting rid of any?

We had custom sheets from Yacht bedding for our C30. It was fantastic to have the exact fit, although the sheets otherwise were just OK (a bit scratchy IMO). I would highly recommend to get custom fitted but would shop around a bit to try to find an exact material I would like.

BTW Yacht Bedding's custom mattress topper is 100% recommended and would definitely get that again!

Thank you!

Having the fitted sheet and mattress pad is 100% worth the investment. Love our YachtBedding. I’m guessing about 100 nights on them since the purchase. No way would this have been possible on the included pads alone. We also use the memory foam toppers and coverlets in the berth as well as the cave on our R27.

We did something else. Ordered a king 3” memory foam topper for the v-berth in our C-28. Laid it out on our dining room floor. Took all the factory cushions out and laid them on top of the topper. Marked up the foam then cut it out using a carving knife.
Took the foam with 2 matching sets of king sheets and two king blankets to a local taylor. She made a custom mattress cover to go over and under the topper using material she had with a zipper around the edge. Cut and hemmed the sheets to fit. Cut and hemmed two blankets to fit the topper dimensions with a couple of inches extra on sides. Took her one full day to do everything.
Total cost of foam, sheets, blankets and her labor about $700. We have 80 nights on it so far. For really cold nights we bring an unmodified comforter out of the cave to keep us toasty warm. Not perfect but works well enough for us.
