R27 Classic - sourcing front window canvas

Hi RT Community !

I'm trying to source front windshield canvas for my 2011 R27 classic. The outside snaps are present. Has anyone successfully sourced factory or aftermarket replacement canvas. So far the vendors I have contacted (Kinder and King Marine) do not have the patterns.

Appreciate any info... trying to avoid having my custom canvas guy get involved

Where are you located? Perhaps a better approach would be to find an R27 classic owner that has the canvas you mention. I have one on Whidbey Island, Wa. Then you could travel to them and trce the pattern and mark the snap locations. This would save a lot of effort for a canvas shop to make a replacement. Pretty sure you will not find a source for such a specialized out of production item.

I'm surprised that King doesn't have the patterns. They have them all for our 2009 R25. The suggestion above is a good one if you can trace the pattern off another boat. Have a shop make the canvas without the snaps. Then you can install the snaps yourself. At least it saves the expense of the canvas maker coming to the boat. Assuming you can't just take the boat to the canvas shop?

Great idea that Curt ,Red Raven has. I am in the Pacific NW as well. I have my 2015 RT27 here in Ferndale, WA, just north of Bellingham. You are more than welcome to make a pattern off my windshield canvas if you are close.
