I'd like to put my R27 on our lift. The lift is rated for 16,500 lbs, so that is not an issue.

I know I need new bunks, so I have ordered two marine grade 3" x 16" x 16' boards to affix to the cross beams.

My question is whether there are any tips for spacing of these boards or any other nuances related to the keel, or the notching I saw in the bunks on the trailer that came with it?

I would assume the bunks should be the same as the trailer. Mine are 48 inches apart. The notches on the trailer are for a sling when lifting it off the trailer. You wouldn't need that on a lift.

Thanks for those thoughs. The trailer has a dip to it, though, that concerns me. I was hoping there was a recommended set up based on a 16" height to the bunks. While I might try out 41-48" to start, it would be great to have a template to use so I can avoid the trial and error.
