getting my stuff together for later this year. Does anyone know the quantities of Anti-freeze needed for winterizing ? Other boats I've owned provided a list, I can't find one. Here's what I know so far, by system - Potable water - minimal if blowing out with air. Shower sump - 1/2 gal Head - fresh water - 1/2 gallon? More ? raw water washdown - 1/2 gallon ?
Generator - a gallon ? Bilge pumps - a gallon for foreward, 2 gallons for aft stern, what about the foreward stern ?
Macerator - locked out. Does it need to be winterized if never used ?
What did I miss?

I use 1 gallon of RV anti-freeze for each bilge pump. (3 gallons).
I pour 3 gallons of RV antifreeze down the toilet into a pumped out and rinsed thoroughly holding tank.
I run 2 gallons down the shower sump (until it pumps pink overboard).
I run 2 gallons through the raw water strainer (until I see pink come out the toilet, and until I see pink come out the hose of the raw water wash down).
Also, make sure there's no water in the bilge.

I pump the freshwater tank dry using the galley sink.
I don't use compressed air nor do I use RV antifreeze in the freshwater system at all. I open all faucets (hot and cold) to let air in. Then I disconnect the hot water tank cold and hot sides and let drain to the bilge. It's pex piping which can withstand freezing as long as it's not pressurized. The hot water heater is about the lowest point in the system.

So, about 10 gallons.

I'm usually moored in salt water and thus, don't have to do most of the above. However, I have spent several weeks on a trailer on two separate occasions (for service), with a cold front of 15 degree weather where I did all the above and it's worked well.

That video I posted about how to winterize an RT27-OB was filmed at the dock of Twin Bridges marina just prior to them hauling my boat out for the 500 hour engine service at Tom N Jerry's boat center. There was a cold front coming in with temperatures expected in the teens to remain all week and I knew Channel Surfing would be out of the water for that time period. She also had no shorepower during this time. The weather forecast was correct, and we had sub-freezing temp's for over a week where it never got above freezing. I just had LaZina film me winterizing the boat quickly.

I got by with 2 gallons. Bypassed water heater and drained. Took intake side of freshwater pump off and rigged a short hose to antifreeze jug. Run 1 fixture at a time till I had pink coming out. Unhooked intake hose at saltwater strainer and ran toilet and washdown fixture again till I saw pink. Then poured some down shower to protect shower sump. Boat was stored on trailer for winter with no problems. Had 4 gallons handy, but did not need. The water tank was pumped empty before I started. Time about an hour. I had a spare O’ring fitting for the pump, so it was easy to pull retaining clip and remove tank to pump hose, and hook up hose with spare fitting to the pump.

Just an update for those who might benefit from my recent efforts. I drained the freshwater system, like Martin did, and pumped out and flushed the holding tank, then started in with the antifreeze. Used an old 4 gal tank and hose setup from old boat. Took about 6 gallons to...flushed some down the head, wetvac'd the shower sump and filled with pink, filler the raw water system with pink, filled the a/c with pink, and the raw water side of the genset. There was enough spillage to cycle the sump pumps. Saved a gallon for any systems I might do maintenance on this winter.
