I’m having a fitting issue with the back door on my 2011 R29 and am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. On the latch side of the door, the aft bulkhead is not straight so in order to fit the door frame flush with the bulkhead it causes the frame to warp. Specially, the aft bulkhead on the latch side bilges outward slightly just above the latch. The result is that the door appears to bow outward from the frame at the top and bottom, when actually it’s the frame that is misshaped. The aft bulkhead on the hinge side of the door is straight. Thoughts?

I had this issue on my R-27, but only at the bottom on the port side. I was able to slip a shim behind the outside panel and then tighten the bottom screw on the panel to snug it up.

My gap is pretty big on the top and bottom at about 0.5" on the top and bottom. Ugh!

You could loosen the frame to take out the warp and then fill behind it with caulking. Not a great solution I know but may give you a better seal for the door.

Going with Curt's suggestion; I am pretty sure there is an outer and inner liner and outer surface. The frame compresses against both. If there is a void between them it may be creating the warp when the screws are tightened. Perhaps removing the frame and inserting shims will spread the liners in the appropriate areas and hence take the warp out. A bit of work, but it does eliminate the caulking of a gap as suggested by Curt.
