R29 dinette modification

Has anyone changed their dinette to a different configuration, like a couch?
I really find it uncomfortable and want something I can stretch out on.
Also, the helm seat could use improvement, any suggestions?
What about just making the aft side of the dinette deeper? Because the table can slide forward.

I often thought of that for my R-27 and then you would have access under the cave. What stopped me was how to accommodate an eating surface. Then I thought about it more and said, "Ah, an R-38!"

Hmmmmm..... does the R-38 have a sofa/couch setup ?

Ya I'll never be able to afford an R38.
Plus our r29 is almost perfect except for the uncomfortable seating.
If I could change the dinette to something with deep seating and a smaller table, that would work.
I was thinking of a small movable table that fold onto itself.
