R29 full Loaded Weight

Has anyone had the weight checked while in the travel lift ? I asked while the boat was being launched today I was really surprised at what he said, and pretty sure it was wrong. 20,000 lbs.. That was empty holding tank and 1/2 tank of fuel.. I know we have a fair bit on here but I was thinking more like 15,000 lbs max. I would be interested if anyone else has had theirs checked. I know the boat is around 10,000 when it is born.

I think the R-27 is touted as being 6,500 lbs. Mine weighs in at about 11,400 on the scales. Deduct 1,500 for the trailer and I am at about 9,900 lbs. So that is about 3,400 lbs of fuel, water and stuff. Perhaps the 29 will carry a bit more so maybe 14,000? I am sure your 15,000 is a good guess. 20,000 sounds a bit excessive, but woman's shoes and makeup can add up quickly! :lol:

Off topic, but we are in Victoria by the Empress. Great spot and I can see why you were here for an extended stay.

Ours was 15,000 on the trailer when we purchased it. The trailer is an aluminum triple axle I think is 2000 pounds. The hard top adds a fair bit of weight. I'm sure we must have another 1000 pounds or more in it now, dingy, outboard, wine, shoes and so on... I have a fith wheel that weighs 21,000 loaded. I tow with a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 with no issues other than fuel consumption.
