So I have the above engine. All of a sudden I had zero oil pressure warning light on the dash display coming on. I verified with a mechanical gauge. I have oil pressure, 60 PSI and idle. Replace the cindy unit and the switch by the oil filter. Wiring harness looks to be in good shape. Haven't stepped on it. Haven't broken anything. Anybody got any insight on this? I would greatly appreciate it. I'm in Middle Tennessee which is also known as the Sahara desert of yanmar dealers

There is a tech bulletin out on this issue. I don't have any literature on the bulletin. A shop did the work when I was in the yard. I thought it has to do with running a secondary grounding wire for the sender. I'll see what I can find. The work was done in 2019.

the Yanmar Service Advisory is YASA2014-005-M. If you search Tugnuts for the advisory you'll find a tread that describes the need today relocate the sender grounding wire. I could not find a PDF of the advisory.
