My glass panel above the head shattered in to a million pieces, but is still in place. How do I get a replacement, and can I exchange it myself? Are any special tools or adhesives and gaskets required?

Hello,

You can order voa parts@rangertugs.com. I believe we use a Sika silicone to seal the window and also give it the beauty seal on top of the dash. If you are slightly handy it isn't too hard of a job, you would want to remove the remaining glass that is held in with seal, once removed you would want to clean and prep the surface for the new seal and window. When putting in the glass it might be a good idea to use a suction cup to hold the glass so you can lower down into place without disrupting the seal you just put down. Once in place you can put some weight on it 3-5lbs to sit and let cure. Hope this helps!

Thank you,

If you decide you’re not comfortable with doing this yourself most glass shops will do this for you. You might check with your insurance company to see if this is covered.

Thanks for the advise. I am confident to do it myself. Kevin Lamont provided valuable feedback.
I was able to order the panel from Ranger Tug.
