R31CB 2016 - Access to forward Heat Pump

I need to replace the reversing valve solenoid coil but cannot gain access to it without removing the bottom shelf in the forward berth. Can I remove this shelf without cutting it or can I remove the return air grill below the shelf? Thanks.

You can gain access to the unit by removing the intake grate in the fwd vbirth below the cabinet shelf or by removing the refrigerator. I would try the intake grate first to see if you are able to get to it from there first.
