I'm getting 5 flashes which indicates a bad flame sensor. I tried to do a reset just to be sure it wasn't a glitch. I found the first fuse behind the helm but cannot find the second. I pulled every fuse under the outdoor sink but nothing.

Anyone know where that second fuse is?

On our R-31 both fuses are in the same block behind the helm. The diagram shows them being the top two fuses on the right, a 20 and a 15. Their positions on your block may differ but the labels on the wires should indicate which fuses are for the Webasto. The labels on ours say “diesel heater.”

Also, make sure you are counting the slow flashes in between the five quick flashes for the error code. All error codes start with five quick flashes, then there are slow flashes that are the actual code. The bad flame sensor code should not apply to the model Webasto that is installed on the R-31 according to my understanding.

I was getting a similar code and found that it was fuel starved. I replaced the fuel filter, and after a few restarts, it now works fine.

I'm not on board right now and would like to order the fuel filter.....does anyone have the model and or part number for that?

I carefully counted the flashes....5 quick ones....then 5 quick ones....over and over....no slow flashes

You can order it from Ranger Tug parts or from an RV or truck parts source:
50487171A Webasto Fuel Filter

That is actually fault code 00 (no long flashes between the 5 quick flashes). Technically it indicates “Control Unit Malfunction” but usually is caused by other things according to what a Sure Marine tech told me. I got the 00 code when I had reset the unit a number of times because of a different fault code. My guess is that after you replace the fuel filter and reset the unit a few times, making sure it is primed, it will work for you. That was my experience.
