For storage purposes of my R31S, I need to have a cradle built that will have bunks like those on a trailer.

Does anyone have an trailer specifically for an R31 where you can actually MEASURE what the bunk spacing is?

1. Width center line to center line between each bunk
2. Height of the top of the bunks above the trailer cross members for clearance of the keel
3. Angle of the sides of the bunks measured from vertical. That is, vertical would be 0 degrees and canted inwards by how many degrees from vertical. For example, 20 degrees canted inwards.

Thanks,

Anyone have this info?

Hello,

We have provided lift and trailer measurements under the "Ranger Factory Technical Bulletins", I have also included a link. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=10154. If that doesn't work for you, I would then suggest reaching out to EZ-Loader trailers which they could give you the measurements they use for trailers. Hope this helps!!

Thanks,

Kevin,

Thanks very much for the reply. Previously, I printed out the drawing for the R31 hull dimensions for careful examination. It is helpful. From that drawing, I can infer that the bunks must fit between the inner chines (40-1/4" apart) and the middle chines (74" apart). To clear the trailer/lift cross members, I can infer that the bunk heights must be some unknown amount greater than 11-1/4". Inward cant of the bunks from vertical is not clear at all.

So, the drawing does not state the simple needs of building a lift cradle for the R31 hull, that is:

1. Width center line to center line between each bunk, for proper support and to avoid the through-hulls for engine, generator, and A/C.
2. Height of the bunks to keep the keel from hitting the trailer/lift cross members.
3. Angle of the sides of the bunks measured from vertical. That is, vertical would be 0 degrees and canted inwards by how many degrees from vertical. For example, 20 degrees canted inwards.

Do you happen to have these measurements? Thanks,
