Has anyone had their radar quit? I was out the other day and useing the radar when it lost hold of a target I had acquired and now radar does not come up on my start screen. I am going to trouble shoot soon but thought I would ask if anyone else has had an issue and found a quick fix . Mine is a 2011 R29 with the Garmin factory set up.

Usually this happens when the ethernet connectors are corroded on the radar dome. If so - gently clean and use a magnifying glass to make sure all the contacts are still there.
 
Thank you.. I removed the green coating off the connections .. still didn't work.. Then I disconnected power from the back of the GPS and it reappeared... I will add some grease to prevent future issues.. but it was good since 2011 so not too bad 🙂 Thank you for the reply saved some hunting
