Raised Cabin Roof

Will the fiberglass wheelhouse roof, with the raised center, fit the early (1992) Classic R21 Rangers - and is a replacement roof available? I’m 6’-1” and the headroom is just shy of being comfortable when I’m standing in the wheelhouse.

... not to answer your question directly, but I looked at a 21 Classic from Utah, that the factory had increased the height on the boat when new on what I was told was a special order, so it has been done .. Rob

Yep - I’ve seen photos of several of the classics with the raised roof - but none on a boat as early as mine, a 1992 with the teak window frames. I don’t know if the wheelhouse design has changed enough to make a fit unworkable?

I just found a photo of a red Classic R21 with the teak windows and bow pudding that appears to have the raised wheelhouse roof. Maybe RFB will respond after the holidays.
