This dude does not represent the Ranger Tug brand very well. On plane, he passes the boaters who made the video and then veers left and then nearly 90° right and hits the marshy bank on plane and runs it up out of the water. Unfortunately, the video does not reveal the reason behind such poor boat handling.
The lat/long heard and the mention of Georgetown, SC in the radio conversations tells me it was on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The incident occurred in April 2022.
The folks who made the video were doing so for the Vlog of their Great Loop trip. I actually talked with them the previous August when they made a stop at Washington Island, Wisconsin not long after they started their loop. I was cruising Green Bay after the Oshkosh airshow. They were a delightful couple.
