Laurie and I are both certified scuba divers and have used our diving buddy's boat for our underwater adventures. We are thinking about using the tug for the occasional diving platform and wonder if any other Tugnuts have already solved this one?

We already know that the swim step ladder is beefy enough and long enough for use as a dive ladder. We have put our tanks forward on the floor between the V-berth and two tanks fit nicely there for long cruises and we have selected plastic bins for our dive gear that fit nicely at the entrance of the "cave." Are there divers out there in Tugnut land?

We're right behind you - as soon as the water warms up a bit.

It might be a while though...no dry suit, haven't wanted to squeeze into a wet suit in years, so we're holding out for water temps in the high 70s.

Oh, and let me know if you ever head up to Hope Island (Deception Pass) for a dive. I stored my anchor there at the end of last season... along with 30 ft of chain and 70 ft of nylon rode.....
