Wondering what the differences are between Ranger25sc and ranger25 ,guess the sc is priced higher?

Main difference is how 2' is used. The SC stands for Sport Cockpit, on the SC the cockpit is two feet longer and the cabin is two feet shorter. The 25 classic has the larger cabin by 2' and a shorter cockpit by 2'. Cabin interiors will be slightly different. Only the SC models are in production now. The SC cockpit is the same size as the Ranger 27' model. You will find 25 classics with Cummins and Yanmar engines. You will find 25SC with Yanmar and now the Volvo engines.

Hi

The 25SC has a bigger cockpit area same size as the R27
The standard 25 has a bigger cabin area same as the R27.
I Hope this helps.
I used own R25 and traded up the R27.

Not to pick nits, but I believe the R25 Classic cabin is a shade shorter in length than the cabin of the R27. At least several inches or so if my memory is correct. But R25 Classic cabin is definitely larger than the R25SC cabin.

Also, the new R25SC come with a few features not available on the R25 Classic. Microwave, TV/Entertainment center and a few other things. Many earlier model R25 Classics have RayMarine navigation and radar as an option while later model R25 Classics and R25SCs come with Garmin electronics as a widely purchased option. The swim platform also changed it's looks just before the R25SC was introduced.

In engines, the early model year R25 Classics come with a Yanmar 110 HP as standard with a Cummins 150 HP as an option. Most later model year R25 Classics had a Yanmar 150 HP standard. The are a few other optional engines that were available during the early years of the R25 Classic. The first R25SC also used the Yanmar 150 HP as standard but later model R25SCs have the Volvo 150 HP engine.

I'm sure there are many, many other small changes between the two but those are the differences that stand out to me.

Yes, The R-27 has a slightly larger cabin than for the R-25 (Classic). This extra space is clearly seen in the head/shower area. I also believe the R-27 has an electric flush head.

The R-25SC has a bunch of nice teak cabin walls whereas the R-25 (Classic) cabin walls are mostly monkey fur except for the 2010+ models that had cleanable perforated vinyl walls around the galley areas and for some on the bulkheads in the V-berth rather than monkey fur.

I also believe the R-27 has an extra cabin roof hatch; the extra is above the fold up chart table covering the 'cave'.

Also, for the R-25SC, R-25 (Classic) and R-27 the cockpit anti-skid flooring is taupe unlike for the R-29's which is a glaring white.

Thanks for replys, clears that up. Hope down the road to get bigger boat, just need to decide 25,27 or29. Like the idea of easier trailering of the 25,but only moving up for more space, and wife likes idea of shower and head and the other extras. So need to decide extra space, cost and towing. Would be very happy with any of the three.
