Hats off to Mike Hudson, our Ranger Dealer at Port Boat House! Mike saved the weekend for a group of boaters headed to Tofino this weekend for some awesome fishing
Keith is part of a group of guys that makes the annual trek for the boys fishing weekend. People travel from as far away as Ontario for this annual event.
The group travelled by ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo and then started the 3 hour drive across the island to Tofino. When the first two groups arrived in Tofino they noticed one group was missing. One member of the group was towing his 20+ ft Trophy fishing boat when his trailer broke down in Port Alberni. This boat is a vital part of the trip so they really needed to get it to Tofino. He stopped at a local Repair shop and was told it would take 3 days to get it fixed.
Keith was already in Tofino when he found out the boat was stranded when he thought about our dealer there. He made a call to Mike Hudson the owner of Port Boathouse in Port Alberni and explained the situation. Mike volunteered to help right away. He took a brand new boat trailer over to meet the broken down trailer, loaded the boat on it and sent him on his way to meet the rest of the guys.
Mike you saved the guys weekend and helped them bring in a great catch of Ling Cod, Salmon and Halibut. YOU ROCK!
