Ranger owner to give talk on Tugboat history

Bill Eggert, owner of R25SC, Just Limin', will give an illustrated talk on his book, Gentlemen of the Harbor, at Maryland's historic Captain Salem Avery House, on February 5th. Located in Shady Side, a few miles from Annapolis, the museum shows the life and livelihood of a Chesapeake Bay waterman in the late 19th Century. A winter series of lectures feature a luncheon of homemade soups, speciality breads and desserts prepared by local volunteers. The events are $20.
