Hi Everyone,
I've just come out of a boat show in Sydney, Australia and seen the R21-EC.
I went in with the idea of looking at slightly faster fishing boats with big engines I was completely taken by this little tug.
Anyway, i was quoted in the region of AUD$112,000 for the boat and trailer.
When i got back online i see on the site that the price is more like $50,000 - http://www.rangertugs.com/r/r-21ec.cfm
Anyone know what the massive difference is?!!! Am i being ripped off? Or is it because of the exchange rate from USD to AUD?
Also, the only reservation I have about the boat is to do with opening water handling - does it fair well in rough sea? Not really rough, but can i take it 2 miles offshore without worrying too much? Or should i stick to the coastline and estuaries?
As i said, really like the boat, just worried about price and rough sea handling. There are lots of good reefs out a bit further and I'd love to get to them!
thanks in advance guys! great little site you have here. hopefully I will be back regularly if I make the jump!
Mike
(PS not worried about the speed and how long it will take me to get there 🙂
