Ranger R31 Shower

We are very seriously looking at an R31, but my spouse claims the shower would not work for her. Is there any advice on the usability of the shower and/or any modifications that make it better. Our personal size is of no issue, it is the plastic hanging curtain that bothers her. (It is the one thing she is hung up on with our future R31, and I need your help! LOL.)

I have been very happy with the shower on our 31, I prefer it over the marina facilities.

We loved our shower on our R-29, and used it all the time. We bought an inexpensive liner at "Bed, Boats, and Beyond" and used command hooks to hold it in place. Then just tucked it in behind the shower with a bungee cord.

On our new R-31 we chose to forgo the panels. We'll use a shower curtain again, and take advantage of the solidly installed panel holders by adding plastic rings to the curtain. We'll use the installed liner (with snaps) to cover the door. It'll be even better.

That said, nothing's better than going for a swim in Desolation Sound, then climbing onto the swim step and rinsing off with the freshwater cockpit shower!
