I’m reaching out to the this community for help in sourcing the black seal on the base of the engine cover for a 21EC. Thanks, Louis
 
Look at car door weather striping you will find a match. Inexpensive, self adhesive and easy to install!

Trim-Lok is a good supplier for these seals. In addition to the style that's on there I also installed a "P seal" that I glued to the deck so now there is no leakage under the doghouse and into the engine compartment. Use a black sealant at the corners instead of the white like mine will make it look better.
