We have a 2014 Ranger Tug 25SC
Question 1
We bought it used with a 2021 Tuff Trailer that did not come from the Ranger factory. The boat keel contacts the trailer crossmember that is behind the axles. There is a plastic pad on the trailer crossmember. The metal strip on the keel has torn the plastic. Does anyone have a boat and trailer that came from the factory together? Does your boat contact the trailer? Do you have some small clearance between the boat and trailer?
Question 2
We have some stains behind the white material on the walls of the vee birth and on the white material on the ceiling just inside the entry door. They did not bother us when we bought the boat, but now we would like to find out the source and how to remove or cover them. We have tried scrubbing them with no luck. There is no indication on the exterior.
Attached are some pictures.
Has anyone seen anything like this?
The stain behind the wall covering in the vee birth is light brown or tan. It looks like a thick liquid has run down. It is not green or black like I would expect mold to be.
The stain on the ceiling looks like a burn. It is black, but there is no damage to the material.
Can you recommend an aggressive cleaning method? Can it be coated or covered?
Could this be from manufacturing?
Thank you.
