Ranger Tug - Cross-country shipping

For those entertaining the purchase of an RT from, say, the opposite coast, would RT have any advice on particular shippers who have demonstrated a proven track record of reasonably economical, safe delivery - across the US or Canada? How does RT ship its own new vessels to dealers across the country? Possible to piggy-back a used boat delivered by water to the factory? So many questions ....

You definitely want to take a recommendation as quality can vary dramatically. sorry I dont have one.

the factory might have some suggestions as they ship boats to the east coast? give the service team a call?

I used a company recommended by ModernTugs out of Pensacola Fl. His name is Roman (I can look up the company name if you need it) and his number is 215-869-5060. He charged $2.00 per mile. He will also charge you for permits, if he has to get them. He just charges coast of permit. He brought our boat form Pensacola to Baltimore. Very nice guy to work with. Also, I was told that he used to work for Ranger, but then started his own business. He has moved a lot of Ranger Tugs.
