Got word that the Christina Bee was in San Antonio last night. The driver was sitting on his sisters front porch resting up from fighting 25-35 mph head winds from Sacramento. We hope to splash her tonight, she will be residing at the Willie's Tug dock for a few days.

Welcome to Texas, Christina Bee and crew! Hopefully this wind will settle down so you can enjoy the lovely tropical tip of Texas!

Texas Steve

Steve arrived in Port Isabel with the Christina Bee in tow. We parked his rig and went back to Harlingen to pick up Tina from the airport. The next day we splashed the Christina Bee in the warm waters of the Tropical Tip of Texas. She is now comfortably at home on the visitor's dock next to Willie's Tug.

Steve insisted on starting a major project to modify our boat house to fit the new Willie's Tug. So for the past two days we have been worked harder than two old guys should work. But it has come together beautifully thanks to Steve's expertise.

Sorry for no pictures, but the slave driver has kept me too busy. I will take some today and publish them.

We have taken time to cruise around the bay and ship channel to give Steve a view of our area and see how his Ranger 25 likes our Gulf waters.

Sweet. All the way around.

Hope y'all are having fun, seeing some dolphins, checking out the water, and enjoying the warmth. I'm still up in the frozen northland (here for my Mother's 90th birthday). It snowed yesterday. I look around at relatives, and just KNOW that I must be adopted... not another boat owner anywhere in the bunch!

Best wishes,
Jim

Here we are after completion of boat house remodel.
